I had the incredible opportunity to be part of Toronto Metropolitan University's team in the Thrill Design Competition hosted by Universal Orlando Florida. This prestigious event includes an invitational and a qualifying competition to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation in theme park design.
I was overjoyed to be accepted onto the team, and our hard work paid off as we successfully made it through the qualifying round and into the invitational round. However, due to the strict non-disclosure agreement, I am unable to share specific details about my contributions. This agreement, while limiting in sharing, is a testament to the seriousness and respect for intellectual property in the competition. Nevertheless, I can confidently say that my team was outstanding. The collaboration, creativity, and dedication of my teammates were genuinely inspiring.
Participating in this competition was more than just a design challenge; it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry professionals. The chance to interact with these experts in the field was invaluable, and their guidance and advice have had a profound and lasting impact on my perspective and aspirations within the field of theme park design.
Reflecting on this experience stands out as a pivotal moment in my academic journey. It provided not only professional growth but also lasting memories and invaluable connections.
